Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your membership and use of Hype Gym, operated by Hype Health Hub Ltd (Company Registration 15374000, VAT Registration 495940050), Unit 7A Baldock Industrial Estate, Baldock, Hertfordshire, SG7 6NG.

1. Membership Types

  • Monthly Membership (£44/month): Paid via GoCardless direct debit on a rolling monthly basis. No minimum term.
  • Annual Membership (£440/year): Single upfront payment for 12 months of access.
  • Day Pass (£8): Single-day access, paid at reception.

All membership types include full gym access and group class participation. There are no contracts and no sign-up fees.

2. Payment Terms

Monthly memberships are collected via GoCardless direct debit. Payments are taken on or around the same date each month. Failed payments will be retried. Persistent non-payment may result in membership suspension.

3. Cancellation

Monthly memberships may be cancelled at any time by providing one calendar month's notice. Cancellation requests must be submitted through your Glofox account or by emailing [email protected].

Annual memberships are non-refundable once the 14-day cooling-off period has passed, unless exceptional circumstances apply at our discretion.

4. Code of Conduct

  • Re-rack weights and return equipment after use
  • Wipe down equipment after use with the provided cleaning supplies
  • Respect other members and staff at all times
  • Appropriate gym attire and footwear must be worn at all times
  • No aggressive, abusive, or discriminatory behaviour will be tolerated
  • Photography and filming of other members without consent is prohibited

Failure to follow the code of conduct may result in membership termination without refund.

5. Health Disclaimer

You exercise at Hype Gym at your own risk. We recommend consulting your GP before starting any new exercise programme. By using the gym, you confirm that you are physically fit to exercise and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions. Hype Health Hub Ltd is not liable for any injury sustained during use of the facilities.

6. CCTV

CCTV cameras operate throughout the gym premises for the safety and security of our members, staff, and property. Footage is stored for 30 days on a rolling basis and accessed only when necessary.

7. Personal Belongings

Hype Health Hub Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises. We recommend using the lockers provided and not leaving valuables unattended.

8. Age Restriction

Members must be aged 16 or over to use the gym. Members aged 16–17 may be required to have a parental consent form on file.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. Members will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the gym after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
